EXCELLENT Based on 95 reviews Posted on Nancy LaudermilchTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My friend and I had a great time using Cocoa Kayaks. Mike provided excellent service. Not only pick up and drop off, he also popped up in the creek when there. Was a tricky spot for us to navigate. Mike was a wealth of information about the creek and also shared that he participates in several conservation activities. Book with Cocoa Kayaks!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Posted on Jim NormanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my third outing with Cocoa Kayaking. Three trips, three different stretches of the Creek. This last one was the Eagle Run. On the way up from the take-out Mike pointed out an eagle nest, I did not see it again while I was on the water. This trip I was solo, the only person on the water. It was quiet, which is nice, so much noise in the world today. So, highlights, A eagle flew over me heading downstream, landed in a tree, then at least twice he took off and passed me again, beautiful sight!. There are a number of small 'rapids' Mike called them 'Class Fun', I agree, just enough to bounce you a little, but nothing to be concerned about. My trip was 7-1/2 miles and was about 2-1/2 hours. Only thing I'd do differently is a bit more bug spray, they weren't too bad, but I did get a couple bites. I would highly recommend Cocoa Kayaking for your trips. We were staying the Ronks area and there really isn't an alternate. That said, Mike has a very friendly and very professional organization. I'll be using him again as we return to this area annually.Posted on Natalie DuffyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. See you again soon!Posted on Meg LemieurTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I always have a great experience. Cocoa Kayaks keeps good track on water levels and safety and they give great instructions for beginners and pros alike at the beginning of the tours. We see tons of birds and wildlife on the water!Posted on Joni BricknerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome float! Saw the eagle not to mention a mink, geese, ducks and turtles. Mike offered a lot of info on the shuttle to put in. Highly recommend!Posted on Philip NeitzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They are very good at what they do, so professional, well equipped, and they made our first kayak experience a very nice, comfortable, and memorable one. While we didn’t opt for a guide, Mike shared so much information about the Swatara on the ride to the starting point and after the paddle. Too many herons, egrets, and turtles to count. Absolutely beautiful waterway. Would strongly recommend!Posted on Carrie LenzeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely the best kayaking experience I’ve ever had! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and enjoyable. The kayaks and life jackets were spotless—clearly well maintained, which gave me a lot of confidence right away. Mike picked us up at the drop-off point and drove us to the launch site. On the way, he gave us a fascinating history of Swatara Creek, which really added a unique and meaningful touch to the trip. Before launching, he gave a helpful briefing on paddling and steering techniques, along with a detailed overview of the route—including how to navigate around the four islands we’d encounter. He also pointed out spots where we might see bald eagles (and we did!). You can tell he genuinely cares about the experience and safety of his guests. I’ve rented kayaks in many places, and this was by far the most organized, informative, and enjoyable outfitter I’ve come across. Highly recommend!
