Fabulous experience, very focused on customer satisfaction and safety. Super easy to schedule and make changes if needed. Team is very knowledgeable about the Swatara's ecology and history of the adjacent land. Definitely recommend!!!Posted on Google Joseph KalisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent experience. Cocoa Kayak staff were wonderful. Kayak and gear were comfortable. We were able to see a variety of wildlife including eagles, turtles and fish. As a plus-size woman, I had several questions before booking, and Mike was amazing. He answered every question I had and made me feel welcome from my very first phone call. On the drive to the launch site, we got a great lesson about the area’s history and ecology, followed by about a 10-minute lesson on the basics of operating a kayak. The kayak-specific docks at both the launch and take-out made getting in and out incredibly easy. Mike also met us at a few different spots along the creek that were difficult to navigate, which was much appreciated. As a first-time kayaker, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend them!Posted on Google sue cTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great gear, most comfortable rental boat ever. The bald eagle run was aptly named, we saw so many eagles! Excellent trip. Would highly recommendPosted on Google Bill BeachTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mike and his team provided every detail ahead of our trip and answered all of our questions. They were set up, ready for our group, and full of fun facts about the creek. They knew the route we were taking inside and out and exactly where we’d encounter low spots. They had a team of 4 people waiting there to help guide us though so no one had trouble or needed to get out of our kayaks. It was a smooth trip all around and everyone had a great time.Posted on Google Donald MorganTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an excellent experience with Mike and Cocoa Kayaks on the Swatara! We met Mike at the pick up spot and were captivated with his historical background on the way to the drop-in. Mike was quite thorough with his prep before the launch. He is a gifted teacher. Our run was awesome. Mike appeared halfway through our trip to take some pics of my wife and I as we skillfully navigated a few ripples and sent those to us later. Ty! We would do it again! And TY to Ashley who was instrumental in making the event happen! Ty!!Posted on Google Nancy LaudermilchTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My friend and I had a great time using Cocoa Kayaks. Mike provided excellent service. Not only pick up and drop off, he also popped up in the creek when there. Was a tricky spot for us to navigate. Mike was a wealth of information about the creek and also shared that he participates in several conservation activities. Book with Cocoa Kayaks!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Posted on Google Jim NormanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my third outing with Cocoa Kayaking. Three trips, three different stretches of the Creek. This last one was the Eagle Run. On the way up from the take-out Mike pointed out an eagle nest, I did not see it again while I was on the water. This trip I was solo, the only person on the water. It was quiet, which is nice, so much noise in the world today. So, highlights, A eagle flew over me heading downstream, landed in a tree, then at least twice he took off and passed me again, beautiful sight!. There are a number of small 'rapids' Mike called them 'Class Fun', I agree, just enough to bounce you a little, but nothing to be concerned about. My trip was 7-1/2 miles and was about 2-1/2 hours. Only thing I'd do differently is a bit more bug spray, they weren't too bad, but I did get a couple bites. I would highly recommend Cocoa Kayaking for your trips. We were staying the Ronks area and there really isn't an alternate. That said, Mike has a very friendly and very professional organization. I'll be using him again as we return to this area annually.Posted on Google Natalie DuffyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
